The Good Beer Guide
It isn’t for nothing that we’re included in the 2010 Good Beer Guide, with six changing locally produced, expertly kept quality bitters available on draught at any one time. This includes our house beer, Continental Bitter, specially produced for us by Manchester’s Marble Brewery. Twice yearly beer festivals complement this with the last featuring over 70 bitters over the course of a glorious weekend.
Pub of the Year
The Continental is greatly honoured by the recent presentation of the 2010 George Lee Memorial Trophy. This prestigious trophy, awarded by the West Lancs Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), is given to the pub in the region which has made the greatest contribution in the year to furthering the cause of real ale.
The Continental's Fourth Beer Festival - Thurs 13th - Sun 16th May - Free Entry!
Preston’s biggest and most exciting beer festival is set to return to The Continental on Thursday 13th May, running through to Sunday 16th May.
Previous festivals have seen thousands of happy drinkers travel from all over the region to enjoy four days of quality ales, great food and a feast of live music from a host of established acts.
