See history repeat itself first in ‘Monkey Poet’ Matt Panesh’s brand new black comedy drawn from actual eye witness testimonies.

A theatre piece based on the experiences of soldiers serving and dying in the first Afghan War (1839-42). It incoporates the greatest disaster in British Military history - the 90 mile walk from Kabul to Jelalabad in which just one man survived froma  force of 16,500 and the retribution that British forces delivered.

Drawn from first hand experiences and with blackly comic elements, this is the first theatre piece from a seven times award winning writer and performer.

There will be two performances of the show - one on Thursday 29th July and one on Friday 30th July.

It starts at 6.30pm each night. Entry is £4.
