“You mean, there’s nothing else but this?”

“I mean – sometimes – there’s not even this.”

A co-production from Happystorm and Breathe Out Theatre. Rob Johnston’s The Myth of Escape is an absurdist drama about holding on to everything you believe in.

Billy finds himself in a cell next to Alex. Neither are quite sure what they have done wrong. Perhaps nothing. It doesn’t seem to matter. Someone wanted them imprisoned and so they have been.

An absurdist political drama about isolation, oppression, and fighting to hold on to everything you believe in.

Written by Rob Johnston, author of 2009 Tringe hit ‘The Opposite of Claustrophobic’ and Continental hits ‘Under My Skin’, ‘Einstein’s Daughter’ and ‘Rid the World’.

Tickets are just £5 and are available from The Continental’s bar (01772 499 425), Preston Tourist Information ((at The Guild Hall 01772 253731) or online from seetickets
