More quality jazz in the main bar area from two men who should need to introduction to connoisseurs of cool. Guitarist Paul Farr cut his touring teeth backing up legendary Hot Chocolate frontman Errol Brown in the late 90s. Since then he’s toured with Gabrielle and backed up Jamelia on TV’s Later with Jools Holland. A frequent performer at Manchester’s hottest jazz venue Matt & Phred’s, Paul has recently collaborated with Connor Reeves on a new album. Sylvan Richardson is probably most famous as the former guitarist for Simply Red, but he is also known in the industry as one of the country’s top session bassists, his sterling work including collaborations with Mr Scruff, Yiorgos Kalandis and Paul’s band Dark Flower. I ask you: can there possibly be anything cooler happening on a Sunday night in Preston?

All starts at 9pm. In the main bar area.
