The world’s most famous revenge drama comes to The Continental in the form of a brand new contemporary adaptation from Liverpool’s Black Box Theatre Company – the acclaimed Liverpool ensemble that has been nominated for the Manchester Evening News Award.
...The company, that has enjoyed success in the past with Richard III, Romeo & Juliet and The Canterbury Tales, describes the production as “Shakespeare for the new millennium”.
Vibrant with action and packed with incident,this story of a family and a nation corrupt and one man’s inability to avenge his father’s death is one of the greatest works in the annals of Literature as well as being one of the most quoted works of fiction in the English Language.
