Trembling Bells are 21st century troubadours who know their history; joyously attempting to synthesise traditional folk forms with the bathetic romanticism of country music, the deceptive complexity of medieval music and the swagger of classic rock.
Ska Face - Friday 30th March 2012 8pm

Ska Face is a ten piece ska band from the wrong side of the tram tracks in England's original ghost town - Blackpool on Sea. Formed in April 2010 the band are enjoying a meteoric rise through the live ranks, packing venues to capacity.
Ska Face performs all the classics - The Specials, Bad Manners, The Selecter, Madness. A full 4-piece brass section sets them apart from other acts, as does their enigmatic and energetic singer Tony Montana.
Open Deck Night 3 - Wednesday 25th January 2012 9pm – Free entry

Turn up with some vinyl or CDs and spin a 10 to 20 minute set (numbers depending) of choice cuts. All welcome – from the newbie to the seasoned pro.
No need to send in demos and get selected as this takes away from the spirit of Open Deck.

The delightful French singer-songwriter, musician and animator brings his collection of Gallic chamber-pop and chanson to the UK, performing songs from his latest album 'E Volo Love'.
Recently signed to Domino Records, François’ playful vocals croon above electronic beats, African rhythms, rich piano chords, shimmering electric guitars and an all-female polyphonic vocal group to create a colourful sound-world.
