Lancashire Writing Hub presents the Intermediate Creative Writing Course - hosted by novelist and short story writer Jenn Ashworth. This short, intensive course is aimed at writers who are working on short stories, flash fiction collections or novels. Learn to structure and edit longer pieces of work, receive feedback and develop your writing process from initial idea to finished product.
Three separate 3 hour sessions - Saturday 9th January, Saturday 23rd January and Saturday 6th February -all sessions 2 - 5pm in the Snug, Continental, South Meadow Lane, Preston.

Third Monday of every month - GeekUp - from 7.30pm - free entry

GeekUp is a community of web designers, web developers, and other tech-minded folk that holds regular knowledge sharing and networking socials for those involved or interested in the internet and technology industries. The Continental is proud to host these monthly meetings. While the focus of GeekUp is predominately web related anybody involved in the technology industry is more than welcome to attend.
