The Continental's monthly Jazz Jam night takes place again on Wednesday 14th. Bring your instruments along no matter what your ability or just come and listen to some great live jazz in a relaxing environment.
Last month's event was very successful, with a great atmosphere and great versions of some of the gold-plated classics.

An evening of groove-fueled jazz from the top-flight bassist and his group. Stevie Williams has played with everyone from Tanita Tikarum to the Hothouse Flowers and Alexander O’Neil and past band members have included Mike Walker, Iain Dixon and Stuart McCallum of The Cinematic Orchestra.

Band leader and songwriter Harold Salisbury needs little introduction to the jazz aficionado - the sax stalwart is something of a legend, having played all over the northwest for the best part of 50 years.
